Downsized Dessrts LLC is a "Cottage Food Operation" under Florida law. This statute allows individuals to use their unlicensed home kitchens to produce for sale certain foods that present a low risk of foodborne illness. Cottage food operators can produce and sell these products directly to consumers without obtaining a food permit from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.

Orders can be placed by email, phone, or text. For email or text, I will confirm your order as soon as possible, usually within the hour. Please place your order at least two days in advance. Cash or check on delivery.

Do you list ingredients?
Absolutely. I comply with specific labeling requirements for the sale of cottage food products.
- The ingredients of the cottage food product in descending order of predominance by weight.
- Allergen information as specified by federal labeling requirements.
Can I order your products online?
While Florida law allows orders and payments for Cottage Industries over the internet, I have chosen the personal approach for any sales. Please contact me by phone, text, or email :)
Can you provide desserts in large quantities for birthday parties or community events?
Yes! The only requirement is that I produce and personally deliver the products to the client or to the event venue.
Do you make icings/frostings from dairy based cream cheeses and/or buttercream (with real butter)?
No. Cream cheese and buttercream icings are not allowed to be produced under Florida Cottage Food Law.
